Our Fitness Instructors

Our instructors have a wealth of knowledge and experience and they are here to help you achieve your goals.  Whether you’re wanting to improve your fitness, lose weight, gain muscle or are recovering from an injury or accident they are ready to guide and support you.

Fitness assessments, personalised programs and regular updates on these are included at no extra cost with all our memberships (except the wet area only and group exercise only options).


Health and Fitness has been a passion of Frank’s all his life. Prior to becoming a qualified personal trainer, he completed a Dip. Ed. in Health & Physical Education and was a PE teacher for 13 years.

Frank has been working at Lilydale Squash & Fitness Centre for 39 years; since the centre opened in 1980.

Rehabilitation and Pilates are Frank’s major strengths, with his overall focus being to educate, motivate and get people moving. His belief is fitness for health.


Shell has been working in the fitness industry for over 20 years and at Lilydale Squash & Fitness Centre for 10 years.

In addition to being a qualified personal trainer, Shell also has a Diploma in Sports Development and is a Sports Trainer in Injury Prevention and Management (Sports Medicine Australia).

Shell’s passion for inclusion has her specialise in working with people with mental health issues, physical disabilities and illness and accident recovery.


Leith has over 20 years experience as a qualified personal trainer and  has been working at Lilydale Squash & Fitness Centre for more than 18 years.

Leith has extensive experience working with athletes and has had articles published in the fields of Strength & Conditioning and Sports Science.

Leith is particularly passionate about working with children and helping them improve their fitness, balance, coordination and posture.  He also enjoys assisting the elderly improve their quality of life.
